Well, because the vast majority are worthy of cussing out! To the driving public a car is meant to get them from point A to point B. We are a minority; we tend to care just that little bit more. And from what I've personally witnessed, most PO either are just lazy or quick-fixing individuals who don't care and/or are truly stupid. It also sucks when you're told you have a good car but when you start digging into it you start finding things that don't make sense, however, had the PO provided additional info (or simply been honest, heheh) the complaining could be reduced. I'm never selling my Squareback but I don't have too many qualms about selling or trading in my Jetta for a convertible (uhm, if I ever find a job in this economy...) and when I do she will have a list of things I've done, including service schedule and receipts. I label all wiring so there's no confusion when somebody else is poking around. It'll make the next owner's life easier. And besides all that, a PO just makes a great scapegoat! :-D Toby Erkson -- air_cooled_nut@pobox.com '72 VW Squareback, '95 VW Jetta, '81 Gold Wing http://www.icbm.org/ Portland, Oregon ----- Original Message ----- > Why do we feel the need to give POs such a hard time?
