Hmmm, but how can I be sure that my engine will last if I use unleaded instead of what is supposed to be lead replacement petrol. The engine on my Notch runs well without knocks or rings banging, quite solid aside from an apparent hesitating that could either be the amount of fuel going in to the carbs or the carbs just need an overhaul. Would it make a difference in the lifespan of my engine if I use unleaded or a higher octane unleaded (premium unleaded)? In oterh words is it possible that using unleaded will eat away inner surfaces or even clog up the carburettors? Thanks for the info.
