I've seen a few over the years, and one was in a carshow last year. But, then again I am in California where such cars are much more driven than elsewhere. At the same car show, a small, local one put on by the Elks club, were the following: 1953 Corvette, copper (one of 6 very few that color) with the plastic bubble top (one of three ever made). 19?? Mercedes 360 Gull wing coupe 1963 Jag XKE convertible Living in car lovers heaven. Driving the highway between Sacramento (state capital) and San Francisco, one typically sees loads of very expensive and fancy cars. Jeff - in Nevada City, California The biggest car show closes Grass Valley and is coming up on April 26th, where a few years ago I saw a gorgeous '64 Black Sqbk, red interior with lots of accessories. He was asking $15,000. He imports unusual VW's, fixes them up, and sells them for big $$$, and is uncooperative and tight lipped on where he finds things like the NOS Sqbk rear cargo area rubber. Last time I was there he had a '67 with an original 1300 engine in it as equipped from the factory. -----Original Message----- >You've seen 3 de Tomaso Panteras?? > >I've never ever seen one, in any country, anywhere. ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
