Yes, it was one of those funny rattles that I could never figure out where it was coming from on my car- I thought it might have been the generator, because when I put my hand on the generator and pressed down, the rattling stopped. The rattle on my car was most pronounced when I reved the engine and when it was idling down again it made the rattle. I found it by grabbing the heater air outlets on each side of the fan housing and pulling backwards and forwards. My one was quite loose, so I could easily see it moving. It is a bit of a job to tighten it up, you have to take off the generator, air intake housing, fan pulley, the rear half of the fan housing and finally the fan. The bolts are behind the fan and also 2 into the oil breather stand. It's not a particularly hard job, but it takes a while. You will need a puller for the fan though.
