All 009's are the same (although the early ones had better construction) and I think there wrong for just about any setup any of us would like to use. They are a stock distributor for a 58 bus if I recall right... meant for low end torque from an underpowered engine. I still believe that if your running a 009 and your happy with it, your running way too rich... not a good thing for longevity but it compensates for the flat spot in the 009 advance curve.
