Ya know that black cap with the spring under it that keeps popping up and
allowing oil to spray on top of your engine? Ya know that they aren't made
any more :-( but I have a fellow Rose City Volkster who came across a huge
(6-7 truck loads) of NOS VW parts. In it was a bunch of Type III parts
(including the front torsion needle bearings!) and he has these caps for sale.
He was the one selling them on The Samba but saved the last for me, well, for
us true Type IIIers :-)
Anyway, he showed me the original VW box, pulled one out and gave it to me!
Yup, looks brand-spankin' new!! So here's the deal:
$7.50 for one
$12.50 for two
The price includes shipping and we decided not to sell more than two per
person.
If you want one or two let me know. Once I get to 25 caps sold then this sale
