Keith, I would have ordered the correct part, but I can't easily find it- I guess I could spend hours searching around and then pay the delivery costs from who knows where for some old stock, but if the early Golf (or Volvo ) pads are really readily available 5 mins from my front door, and are exactly the same (they just fit!) then thats good isn't it? Whats a NAPA no. anyway? I think that they might stock parts for Golfs and the Volvo 240 for a while longer than they'll stock Type4 parts, so its probably worth knowing for the future. I thought 5GBP for a set was extremely good value and I know that Pagid are a very good make.
