Use a hydraulic press with short piece of tube on the underside and a large ball bearing on top. When I put them back together, I like to use large Belleville washers under each bolt head. This spreads the clamping force out rather than concentrating it right under the center of the head of the bolt. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
