sounds great jim, I look forward to the correct distributor...I need to replace the clutch too..maybe this weekend I can do both. I am not sure if you sent it yet-but I had a couple parts I was looking for-not a big deal to get right away...the drivers side door handle is broken, when I took the panel off I saw that where the metal rod hooks onto the door handle is broken. so I think I need to replace the whole handle. also the escutheon plate behind the handle is cracked, and the chrome plating is coming off the passenger side plate. These are only cosmetic things-so not a big deal, but I would like a new door handle so i don't have to open the window every time I want to exit the vehicle... i was also looking for a horn ring-for a 1971. the previous owner cracked the horn ring...you mentioned before that the screws that hold the ring down should be stepped. Mine are, but I still don't really have any play in the horn-ie it moves very little when pressed, and doesn't always "honk". I assume that the bolts should be tightened when installing the ring, ie not left loose.... two other things I was looking for-the adjusting know for the driver's seat, and the lever you lift to move the driver's seat backwards and forwards.
