well, I just got done replaceing my rear brake cyl that was leaking. all went pretty well I think. I got the new cyl in and put the shoes back on, they looked ok. I had some trouble getting the drum on I had to take the adjusters almost all the wqay in, but thought that was normal. I got the wheel back on and tried to adjust the brakes. no matter how far I turned the adjusters either way they would not stop dragging. one way locked the wheels and the other never stopped dragging. it also looked like the shoes were not staying put, sometime when I spun the wheel one way it would turn (with drag) and the other way would lock, like the shoes were teetering. could I have the wrong cyl that has an incorrect size or something? I decided to stop that and bleed the rear two and come back to it. bleeding went well as well with no more bubbles coming through. but when I went for a test drive, it still took about two pumps to get pressure. did I not get it? do I need to bleed the front as well? need help nathan http://home.att.net/~orntar/project/vwt3.html 70 fastback ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
