It's possible that today's available replacements have eliminated the OEM style 
of offset, so that there is no longer any eccentric (and hence no adjustment 
available to the lowers.) You can test this rather easily by just turning one 
and seeing if anything moves around. If this is the case, you will want both of 
your lowers to match.

It is also possible that they just left off the notch, leaving the mechanic to 
figure out the correct way to put them in.

It should be easy to tell which it is, but you'll have to note the current 
position then loosten and turn it. The eccentric motion is easy to see.
