Well, it starts fairly easy (2 pumps of the accelerator in the morning
sometimes) and stays running unless its below 15* out (already did that over the
last winter), then it needs a little play of the throttle to keep it running. It
starts with a touch of the key when warm, hardly even working the starter. It
runs very well, worth trading it at the time for a Super Beetle that I had.
I've kept an eye on the oil, because I didn't build/rebuild this motor, and
I want to make sure everything is good to go if I wanted to take it anywhere,
and I haven't seen the oil diluting yet. I've had the Webers on my Notch for
over 3 years, and still haven't seen that, nor my wife's Fastback (Solex
equipped) that we've had since 1989. In fact both the Webers and the Solexs give
about the same mileage on my cars with me driving.
