Basically, the "Variant II" is the panel van, which could be had with 
windows as well. It used the HD rear suspension, with swing, and the 
1500 sidedraft engine. Dual-carb and FI was optional, of course. And 
this ifo is for late models, as my O'sM is from 1973.
