The 70 and later type3 uses its own VW emblem, that is smaller than a bug
emblem. It even has a 311 prefix. I have on here from a 71 (damaged) that has a
part number of; 311 853 601 this size is used from 70 to 73. The 113 853 601D
is a bug and 61 to 69 type3, I know because I bought one for my old Square only
to find out its too large, but it did fit on my 65 Notch without any trouble.
