[T3] Distributor drive shaft
<x-flowed>Hi,
I think my distributor drive shaft is installed incorrectly on my 69 AT
squareback after reading some of the previous posts on how to adjust valves.
Right now I have carbs but I am thinking of going back to FI since I still
have all the parts in a box, but not until I can get the FI harness repaired
or get a hold of one that is good.
Right now I have a 009 but out of curiosity I went to install the original
"L"the other day and the vacuum canister would not allow me to time it right
since it got in the way of the cooling tin.
The question is, is resetting the drive shaft something that I can do
without the engine out of the car? Is it hard to do? Another thing, I got
the engine rebuilt almost a year ago and the warranty is out at the end of
this month. Do you think I should see if they guy who did the engine would
reinstall it correctly?
Thanks guys
