I got my gas gauge to read 1/4 of a tank(tank is full) by adjusting the wires inside of the sending unit. One side was not making contact with the float. I think that I may need a new sending unit. The one that I have was also full of rust! Does anyone know where I can get one? I'm also starting to look at the body work to be done. Is there a good source of T3 body panels or patch panels anywhere? Specifically I need the front wheel wells and the panel in the front underneath the bumper. I would also appreciate any hints on doing body work on these cars as I am new to this.
