[T3] 911 2.7 into a VW

Not directly a type 3 question, but was hoping for as many viewpoints as
possible.

Basically I came upon 2x 911 2.7 engines for an unbeatable price. Aside from
anyobvious body modifications due to size restrictions, what is needed to
mate these engines to a VW? Is it pretty much the same solution as
installing a TIV? Any advice is welcome.
