re:TMI seat covering

Greg,

I have not done type3 seats, but I did my bus seats last year. with tmi
stuff, and new foam pads.

this is what I learned in my research...
-horsehair pads look better, foam feels better and last longer

-my seat frames felt kind of greasy and grimy when I took the old stuff off.
I almost washed them off. DO NOT WASH THEM OFF. I learned that greasy stuff
keeps the seats from squeaking(another list member had cleaned his off, and
found out the hard way)

-I ended up using some fishing line to attach my seat covers, and only
needed it for a little part...the rest of the connections I was able to
reuse the existing spikes(although these may be on-existent in a T3)

good luck, and let me know what you find price wise my seats also need
recovering...
