Well, my son drives a radically lowered type3. At least 4 notches on the
front and at least that many on the rear. Two notches front and rear are nothing,
as far as radical, and its almost normal. : ) It really depends on what tire
and wheel combo you're using, whether or not you still have a swing axle rear
end, and how much rub you're getting in the front. On my Notch thats lowered 2
splines (inner) I'm running 165s on it with only a slight rub (with 4 people
in the car) or a slight rub with 2 in the car at full lock. I'm getting no rub
at all on the rears. My wife's Fastback is lowered 2 splines (outer) and it
only rubs at full lock irregardless of how many are in the car. My son's car
rubs the 165s at any hint of turning though. I hope this helps.
