[T3] hey everyone!
<x-flowed>I finally got a good tranny in my fastback woo hoo! and its even a REAL Type
3 tranny out of a 70 Fastback just like mine :) wow, its nice to be able to
actually go faster than 70 again in my fasty.. the restoration.. well its
95% done. all thats left to be done is to take it to a professional body
shop and have them re-do the body and make the body perfect and re-spray it
the original Deep sea Green ;) and then i have to find me another project! i
do have a 71 bus in my garage (damn it its the exact year i want too) that a
local guy is paying me to restore for him.. shouldnt be too hard to get done
by october. oh and the final Bug production numbers.. i have them..
THe last beetle was Baby Blue in color and as it rolled off the factory line
it had a mexican flag made of flowers upon it and it was serenaded by a
mariachi band playing "El Rey" Translation "The King" the car is going to be
sent to a museum in Wolfsburg Germany. Can you believe it was number
21,529,464! Holy @$#% thats a lot of beetles! They sell in Mexico for $8000
but the brazilian VW place is going to import 50 of them and sell them for
$13,000 Great britian will have some for $16,000 and in germany the last
edition bug will be going for $14,900 each.. sorry.. i had to put this down
and let ya guys know all the numbers.
Cheers eveyone!
