Does it have aluminium painted vent-wing window frames or polished ones? >i'm living in japan but i bought my SQBK in the states last november. from the pics i have, the window frames look polished. just on a side note, japanese people aren't real big on VW's. most of what i've seen were LHD's from the states. japanese people tend to frown on old cars. they always gotta have the newest, latest, and greatest. it's a little odd, b/c they sell new fiberglass skirt kits for their weird little vans that are identical to the old, two-tone buses and kombis. you just remove the headlight housings and bolt it on. course i have seen REALLY old junk yards over here w/ MOUNTAINS of old VW's. every time i try and hit one i been told that nothin's for sale. heck they won't even let me look around.
