O.K., additional info, 71-73 hood/springs, Bentley says use tool VW814. What
does this tool look like? Hubby is debating on cutting a notch in the forward
end of the spring anchor clip, so that the brake tool doesn't keep slipping
off. He has no experince w/ the "newer" hood springs.
