[T3] Off and On Acceleration

Hello my name is Joel and I am new to the list, I hope
I am posting this properly. I have been Reading the
list for years. I have a 1970 Squareback automatic, it
is fuel injected. I have a problem that after the 
engine warms up the car will not accelerate from a
stand still properly. When I press on the gas the car
just sits for a few seconds and then takes off fast.
When the engine is cold acceleration is normal and 
methodical. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
