Re: [T3] Patch panels??

<x-flowed>The actual number is about 21.5 million Beetles, the last one will be made in only a few days (July 30th), after 58 years of production, and the type 3 left the factory in about 2.5 million examples during 12 years of production (1961 to 1973). It was the type 4 that was a bit short of half a million only.

Kevin, if you reread what you copied from a previous post, I think the writer is saying that there are those who will dispute that VW only made about a 1/2 million Type 3's over it's 11 yr run.

Was writ:

"Something for you to think about though, the bug had a long production run
(over 40 years) with many (about 22+ Million) cars built, the type3 had a
short 11 year run and about a half million built total. I'm sure others

will

point out that VW built more type3s, but nobody knows for sure how many."

I am confused-how could anyone say more type 3's were made than beetles?

Its

not even close is it?
