Wait a second. I'm not clear on this.

How do I tell which one I'm on from under the car?

So you're saying - If I'm doing #1, set the engine to #1, adjust the intake
and exhaust for #1,  AND with the engine still in place, adjust the INTAKE
on #2, and the EXHAUST on #4 as well?

Please clarify.
