Hello all. First, I would like to offer my condolensces to Leon and his family. The turn signal lever has broken in my 69 Squareback. I removed the steering wheel to find the bottom and tops of the C-shaped shifter had broken. The bottom broke clean and the top shattered. I could manually make the signals work with the mechanism on the right side, albeit it could use some cleaning or lube, it's tight. Electronically the flashers, signals and high/low switch works. The only thing broken is the internal 'C' part of the lever. -----C Can I just replace this or would I be better off to replace the entire assembly? Would I be better off finding a used assembly or new, in terms of quality? Also, to access and unhook to wiring to remove the turn signal assembly, do I just need to undo the two hex bolts under the steering column? I lost my Bentley somewhere in my apartment. Although I took a few weeks off from the T3 and perhaps I moved it out of site then. Anyway... Thanks for your help. --Jim ===== completely out of date yet still boasting genuine meat by-products... http://www.machobeagle.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
