Yup, I've seen that on a few bugs that ingested that brass tube. When the
head came off one of them I showed the owner the top of the piston, and the head.
You could see where it bounced around a few times before being exhausted out.
The plug gap was closed up pretty good too, but I never noticed any shavings.
It really surprised him that it ran at all.Just shows you how tough these
engines really are.
