The popping, BTW, is only when I pretty much floor the accelerator, and it doesn't affect the ride at all, in other words, the car doesn't slow down or lose power. It does it a lot less since I reset the timing, so some of yesterday's pyrotechnics could have been backfires caused by bad timing.
