It isn't all that loud or noisey. As I accelerate, it doesn't even seem ridiculously fast until you look down at the speedometer and it's just too high to be "right." :-). I cruise along at 125mph on a back road with the windows up and the A/C on - they can't believe that it's a VW. The only problem with my car at that speed is bump steer - if the road is rough, watch out. The stupid unequal-length tie rods have _got_ to go... and they'll probably be taking the non-camber-compensating twin trailing arms with them...
