Leaks that get on the lower heat exchangers are almost always the valve cover gaskets, although they could be the pushrod tubes or seals. Oil on the bottom of the engine could be coming from any number of places. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
