Martin, when we converted my wife's Fastback to AT, I used an old FI kick
down switch and bracket that I tack welded to the center pivot, and adjusted it
so that it would close when the throttle is wide open. I did this back before I
found the list or even saw a type3 with carbs and AT, but it does work very
nice. I hope this helps.
