All,

I have an EMPI style camber compensator on my '68 Squareback.  While it's true 
the bracket gets in the way, I was able to attached the ends of the compensator
to the axle tube using "C" brackets, plates and double nuts.   The original
attaching method was a leather strap at each end but these only lasted about a 
month before the z-bar bracket cut them up.
