I always liked that car and was thinking about it today.

I could post pictures that would make you cry.....................

I sold it to a local guy that was really "gung ho" to do something with. After about 6 weeks of sitting outside (summer) he found a Bus he wanted and was going to sell the Ghia. I tried to explain to him it wasn't going to be that easy. At any rate he towed it to Pomona (banking on selling it) with no luck. However while there, sitting unattended over night, the t/s/ switch got broke, the car got keyed, and misc. pieces from the interior were stolen. He reluctantly towed it home and put it back outside along his (non VW) shop. There it sat literally wide open (windows down, etc.) with stray animals using it for a home. About a month ago he moved it to his new place and has at least put a tarp over it. At some point he started removing the stickers from it, but didn't get the glue, so there are alot of those tell tell signs of previous stickers on it in places.

Every time I asked him about it and his plans he claims he's going to get it going again, but I highly doubt it.

Is it for sale? Probably not, and if it is the price would be way out of line I'm sure.
