Not so much a muffler i.d., but kind of funny, and a little puzzling: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6763&item=2401462424 So, looks like a regular Type III muffler, of course... now, what first gave me a laugh, was the pair of what look to be Beetle tail pipes! (Maybe the seller thinks they should mount to the heater box fittings...?) However, upon reading the description, a Type III part number is given to these long, chrome pipes: 311-251-185.
