Re: [T3] Muffler ID

My '63 Squareback has the original muffler, it's sorta surface rusty though.
Looks like they patched it once too. Stupid Canadian weather. What a
piece of junk. ;)

My ex-'67 Squareback still had the original muffler. San Diego, CA car
= perfect condition.

My ex-'65 Squareback had an original exhaust I pulled off a 60K mile '66
Fasty in the junkyard. NorCal cars, both of them.

My ex-'65 T-3 (Texas/New Mexico car) had the original muffler but it had
rotted away at the heater box connections in the past few years from sitting.

My '63 Notchback (SoCal/Nevada/Montana) had an NOS Leistritz muffler installed
in July, 2002. It is super quiet, enough to make me think every other Type
3 I have ever owned with an original muffler may have been damaged internally.
