I bought a fuel analyser at a swap meet last week and I tested it out on my type 3 yesterday. I adjusted the idle mixture to get it exactly right on both sides, it makes it easier to adjust while watching the gauge rather than listening for when the engine slows. I noticed when I opened the throttle just off idle, the needle goes towards the rich side a bit, then above about 1500 rpm's the gauge shows the mixture getting more and more lean, and at about 3500 it is between 14-15 on the air fuel ratio. Is this normal?
