Hi all, I know this has been discussed before, but I just checked my plugs after a long pleasant drive. The 2 electrodes and the porcelain are completely uncoloured- totally clean- maybe just a tad light tan, but the outside of the plug shows light sooty deposits. What could this mean? I read someone say that with todays petrol, they should be dark brown to black. So I guess I'm running too lean? I must get myself an exhaust analyser to do this a bit more accurately! By the way they are NGK plugs if that makes a difference- they looked better quality than the bosch, but I guess a plugs a plug.
