Well... if your car is vvery, I mean VERY rusty your front frame head may just have collapsed! that spelled the end of my old 73 5 years after I sold it. MUCH more likely that the rubber column joint has failed... DONT drive it till you check things out. We should ALL check our disc's out, especially if they have been replaced as the repros are made from very poor rubber and generally start cracking in just a year or so.
