Re: [T3] My Palomar Hill Climb
<x-flowed>Here in Norway, about 60% of all cars drive on studded snow cars, and
about 39 of the remaining 40% drive on studless snow tires all winter
long. The studs actually have a mission besides providing better grip
for your vehicle. They also help to dig into the snow/ice that may be on
the road, the studless tires are just polishing the surface which makes
it even more slippery than usual.
On the other hand, driving on dry/wet roads with studded tires causes a
lot of dust as the studs also tear up the asphalt, causing trouble for
people with breathing problems, asthma especially.

Studded snow tires are legal in Washington State from November 1st to
April 1st. My personal opinion is that these tires tear up the roads,
especially the concrete ones.
