<x-flowed>Yes, I was fortunate enough to have found a wife after that trip.  We 
actually met about 4 days later.
I did pass one plow on that entire drive, but it was on the second mountain 
pass, "cabbage hill" in the Blue mountains.  That is a 7%  uphill grade and 
the car just kept plugging along!  Single side draft an all!  Adding to the 
surreal experience was the swiss cheese sheet metal that car had.  I could 
see/hear snow flying past the car, and occasionally got a blast in the car 
if i hit a mild drift!  Ah, youth...
