Today I braved the cold weather and looked at both my 69 Square and my
wife's 70 Fastback. My 69 didn't have that date plate but my wife's 70 did.
So I guess this would determine that the 68s didn't get them either. I just
thought I'd pass this along to you, as I was trying to gather the info for
Big Al. Dave Hall mentioned that he didn't get a good look at Jim's car while
he was there. And to save Jim from going out in the cold, you don't need to
look for something that is not there. These tags were used on the "long nose"
cars only (70to73). I hope this helps.
