[T3] [T3]Heater problem solved! - was: Fuel pump for Eberspächer gas heater
<x-flowed ISO-8859-10>Good people,
Got the Eber running again this afternoon. It looks to have been a
problem with the pump's settings, which I probably wouldnt have figured
out hadnt it been for Russ' manual. That is one helluva lot of material
to read through, btw. It seems this manual does not cover the B2 heater,
but as long as the pump is the same, I got what I needed.
It also turned out to be a problem the filter. It wasnt completly
sealed, so the pump sucked air. Maybe because I didnt tighten it up
properly, but I did replace that before the pump, so I'm not quite sure
exactly what was the problem.
Now I only need to get a couple of new hoses fabricated, there was a
slight fuel leak on one of the spares I had. The one that was originally
on the heater broke, I guess the combination of 40 year old hoses and
-10^(o)C isnt exactly the best situation :-)
Thanks for the tips, everybody!
