Haahahahha...Duh... Sorry, had to let out the laughter  :) Man, don't know
how I didn't pick it before.

Somehow I was relating Mark's story  to the way engines are made to perform
better by changing the exhaust system.  I am not wrong in that am I?
Otherwise why would teens with muscle cars (i.e. RevHeads) modify their
exhaust systems so much (it has to be more than for the noise it makes while
revving the engine).  I somehow thought that by opening the heater channels
some sort of pressure or whatnot is release (or wahtnot) and causing a
slight effect such as installing a performance exhaust system.

No!?
