Dull? Thats putting it mildly... but atleast they do warn you,,, most dont. The empi 8 spokes, in my opinion are a DISASTER of a wheel... One trip in the rain and youve got water spotlets everywhere... the they will corrode QUICKLY! and dont even THINK of getting them near salt! Polishing is laborious... I had to do it once and thank goodness I seldom drive the notch in the rain... Clearcoating isnt something that your going to be able to do yourself... at least not getting it to last. Even the factory clearcoats here in the Salt zone start corroding in a few years. The wheels needed to be anodized... but thats prohibitively expensive to have done yourself... find a wheel that is. And if thats not enough... they were for some unknown reason designed to use lug nuts, which means you need the stud kit, (additional cost) and if that isnt enough you need a special micro-thin walled socket to get between the nut and the well, so you cant just use any socket... and if the nuts get frozen on there they will NEVER come off without breaking that socket... Whew! I think im finally done...
