Greg, no thats not it- mine is 'almost' exactly the same as a bog standard hard plastic late model wheel- with the oblong horn push and 4 short horizontal spokes. Did the higher spec cars come with something a bit more luxurious like that? Over here I've only seen earlier year Ls and TLs- most of the late cars seem to be the one sun-blind variety- I guess we were poorer than the rest of you in the '70s (or the dealers were cheapskates ;-) The rim looks similar though- fake leather effect- even with the 'stitched' join at the bottom. Its quite handsome, but I actually really like the utilitarian feel of the hard plastic one in my TA!
