All years have basically the same thing: A cap with a long spring-loaded 
dipstick attached. If yours is missing I'd definitely get a proper one in 
there. I have good cheap used ones if you want one.

I assume you have the "base" that this cap screws onto. It is black, has a 
round central ring and a diamond-shaped flange with 2 bolts into the body to 
hold it in place.
