One day, I was running the wipers and squeak, squeak, squeak... then they slowed to a Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkk.... and BANG! suddenly they started to work nicely again. TWO years later I decided to recondition the whole wiper assembly and relube the shaft sleeves... boy was that sucker seized!! snapped the furrel peens off the braket and used the grommet as the bearing!
