The early pop out "hinge"set up is just like the squareback pop out hinge. What I mean by that, is that its rivited to the pop out frame, and goes into slots in the window opening (by the door post). How is the late set up done? The rear latch is almost the same as a square also, the exception is the part that screws to the "C" post ( up behind the rear seat). Can you post some pictures of the 2 side by side, or some photos of how the window hinges? We might be able to help you figure out how to make it work.
