Re: [T3] who's doing Type 3 work this weekend?

I did not do anything worth mentioning on my '63 Notchback but I did recieve
a small batch of NOS Type 3 parts on Friday, some of them can be seen here:

There are a couple seals that were not marked with the correct part #s.
They may not even be Type 3 so if any recognizes them, let me know.

Another point of interest is that I got 2 NOS fan shroud lid seals, 1 is
foam and 1 is rubber. Jim A. had mentioned some time ago he may have found
a replacement for the foam seal. I noticed the other day that my '63
Notchback has a rubber seal. My ex-'67 Square had a foam seal so the change
probably occurred somewhere in between. My guess would either be 1966 for
the 1600cc engine introduction or when the lid changed from being held on
with 3 bolts to using the 2 little clips. More information welcome...
Seals can be seen here:

I also got 24 of these early Grey seat belt mounting rings:

If anyone needs a couple, let me know, I don't really need 24 of them. I'm
thinking $5/pair? They are NOS.

I also attended the Copperstate show in Mesa, AZ today, pictures here:

Of particular interest to Type 3 listees would be the '64 Sunroof Notchback
recently purchased by a listee in AZ and the turbo-charged Squareback.

If the listee who owns the '64 Notch could email me, I thought of some
answers to the questions you asked me at the show.
