No problem with my browsers "reply" settings, I've been reading and posting off the web for years. Sort by thread and it's quite convenient, nice empty inbox this way.
This weekend I'm finishing the rust repair uncovered last week. I have been watching a bubbles come through the middle of my passenger door for over a year. It took me awhile to realize it was coming from inside. As I suspected, the factory tar sound damping mat glued to the inside of the door had pockets that were catching rain coming past the window scraper. I cut the tar board back in several areas and after scraping and poking around have a pencil sized hole! I'm using my leftover POR-15 to treat these areas, and trying to fill the hole with creative taping and painting technique.
Thanks to the list for leads on a replacement z arm rest I broke apart. I guess I'm spoiled by the summer time swap meet prices... In the meantime I got out the superglue and put it back together, you can't see it ever was broken! If the glue is as good as they say, it should be stronger than original. I'll find out.
